Our stock carpet meets current flammability requirements for private aircraft operators. We offer carpets with face yarns of nylon or wool construction. These carpets are generally produced in either a six-foot or a twelve-foot width, and are available for immediate delivery from our warehouse.
We also provide custom-design hand-tufted carpets for the more discriminating buyer.These carpets are made from wool pile yarns, and can be accented with silk yarn
if the client so desires. Your imagination is the only limitation to the range of pattern and color combinations available. Because of the intense amount of design work as well as the labor involved to produce one of these one-of-a-kind masterpieces, pricing is commensurate with the end-product.
Wool carpets are both flame-resistant and meet FAA and JAA requirements for low smoke and toxicity. Our nylon (polyamide) carpets are produced using solution-dyed filament yarns that are stain-resistant, durable, and meet the FAA requirements for flame-resistance. Nylon carpets are generally less expensive than wool, are offered in several patterns and constructions.

Spectra can also produce carpet kits for your aircraft. While we don’t have patterns for all aircraft, we can produce a kit from either your paper pattern or your old carpet kit.
